Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of healthcare providers (including gastroenterologists, hepatologists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants) involved in the care of patients with chronic liver disease (CLD) and gastrointestinal (GI) disorders.
 

Program Overview

RUSH into GI will deliver focused, educational updates highlighting clinically relevant advances in the management of patients with chronic liver disease (CLD) and gastrointestinal (GI) disorders to healthcare providers. It will feature an interactive format to enhance the educational impact. The conference will deliver emerging science and incorporate expert opinions on best practices for the diagnosis and management of patients with CLD and GI disorders.
 

Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

  • Describe current guidelines for the diagnosis and management of CLD and GI disorders.

  • Employ an evidence-based approach to the management of CLD and GI disorders.

  • Identify new advances presented at major congresses and assess their potential impact on clinical practice.

Accreditation Statement

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Medical Education Resources (MER) and Focus Medical Communications. MER is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Nursing Credit

Medical Education Resources designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.25 ANCC nursing contact hours. Nurses will be awarded contact hours upon successful completion of the activity.
